This is an accessory, not a model. The package contains precisely die-cut self-adhesive masks for the glazing of a model of the American P-40F fighter in the large 1:32 scale. The TFace designation means that the set holds masks for both sides of the transparent parts. You can therefore spray the canopy frames from the outside in the external camouflage shade and from the inside in the interior shade, exactly as on the real aircraft.
In a large scale the glazing is sizeable and every inaccuracy of a frame shows immediately. Going round it with a brush by hand rarely turns out well here. Die-cut masks follow the shape of the frames of the particular model, stay in place and leave a sharp edge once peeled off. At the same time they protect the large area of glazing from overspray, fingerprints and scratches during the build.
Degrease the transparent parts first. Take the masks off with pointed tweezers and press them against the edges of the frame with a soft stick, so that they do not lift anywhere. Spray in thin coats; a heavy coat will create a ridge at the edge of the mask. Peel them off shortly after the paint has dried, not after a long time. Remove any glue residue with a wooden stick and alcohol, which will not attack the plastic.
An accessory for the model. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
