Eduard 1:32 Remove Before Flight - Israel is a photo-etched set of Remove Before Flight tags in Israeli form for sharpening a model of an aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a photo-etched detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:32 scale. It contains miniature tags and flags with the Remove Before Flight lettering in Israeli form, which on real aircraft are hung on covers, pins and locking features before flight. It is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory that will add credibility to a finished replica.
Remove Before Flight tags are red flags that the ground crew place on safety pins, intake covers, pitot tubes and other features of an aircraft. They serve as a conspicuous reminder that these have to be removed before take-off. The Israeli Air Force uses its own language version with a Hebrew inscription.
The parts are separated from the etched fret with a sharp knife, shaped with tweezers and glued with cyanoacrylate glue. For a realistic look they are painted in matte red and gently brought out with shading. Ideally they are added at the exposed places of a finished model during the final detailing.
This is a photo-etched accessory for sharpening a model, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
