Rumpler C.IV – photo-etched surface details in 1:32 scale from the Czech maker HGW. Brass photo-etch for a faithful rendering of the external elements of the airframe of the German reconnaissance aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of brass photo-etched parts for detailing the external surface of the plastic kit of the German two-seat reconnaissance aircraft Rumpler C.IV in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model but an accessory to be fitted onto the matching kit. The photo-etched parts capture the surface elements that are only suggested on plastic faithfully.
The Rumpler C.IV was a German two-seat reconnaissance and observation biplane of the First World War, valued above all for its performance at high altitude. Its airframe carried a range of inspection panels, fittings, steps and other small elements that give a finished model scale fidelity.
The photo-etched parts replace or complete the external surface elements – the inspection panels, the fittings, the handholds and the fine details of the airframe. Separate the parts from the fret, bend them accurately and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the surface before painting and apply a base for metal.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
