Four resin SUU-7 dispensers of type 2 in 1:32 scale are the second configuration of this stores set. They serve as an accessory for an airplane kit, not as a model in their own right.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of four carried SUU-7 dispensers in 1:32 scale, the type 2 configuration. The manufacturer lists both configurations of the dispenser as separate items because they differ in detail; which feature distinguishes them is not stated here, however. The SUU-7 is an American dispenser for scatterable submunitions with lengthwise tubes inside an aerodynamic body.
With stores in a large scale, what mainly decides the result is the accuracy of repeated parts. Four identical dispensers have to hang at the same height, at the same angle and with the same shape at the rear, or the model looks untidy when seen from behind. A resin casting gets around that, because every piece comes out of one mold as a whole and is not assembled from halves on which the seams would have to be sanded away.
Wash the castings before building and let them dry. Separate the casting block with a saw and sand the face level wet, so that it seats on the pylon across its whole area. Set the layout of the load out on paper first and try it dry: with four pieces every deviation is multiplied. For a firm joint, drill a hole in the seating face and glue a wire pin in. It is painted over a primer in a uniform body shade; at the end a darker wash in the engraved seams and light dusty soiling on the underside prove their worth, settling the dispenser visually under the wing.
The set is an accessory for a kit, not a model in its own right. It is supplied unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
