Accessories of this type are not built into a model but assembled around it, and they determine what the scene actually shows.
Dioramas with military equipment often suffer from only the equipment being visible in them. They lack everything that makes a place inhabited, that is the things people left there. Civilian equipment shifts a scene from a static display of a vehicle to a tableau of a particular place: a yard, a shop, a market, an abandoned household or a space through which civilian traffic passed. Small objects also fulfill an important compositional role. They fill the empty areas of the base, create secondary points of interest and above all give the viewer a guide to scale, as with objects whose real size everyone knows, a model reads correctly at once.
First wash the parts and rid them of dust, then coat them with a filler primer; the print will take the paint better and any traces of layering will be softened. Paint them separately on a stick or a holder and glue them into the scene only when finished, as it is hard to spray around small objects once they are standing on the base. Do not distribute them in a diorama symmetrically and in parallel: a few pieces turned over, one fallen against a wall and one partly covered come across better than a regular arrangement. Unify them at the end with the same dust pigment as the terrain, so that they do not look freshly laid out.
This is a diorama accessory, not a kit. Paints, glue, figures and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
