A photo-etched metal detail set of ammunition boxes for the German 88 mm Flak 18, 36 and 37 anti-aircraft guns in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Aber. It faithfully reproduces the thin-walled carrying cases with their lids, hinges and handles. This is an accessory for a gun or a diorama, not a standalone model.
The famous German 88 mm guns of the Flak 18/36/37 family served against aircraft and also as anti-tank weapons. Transport boxes for the rounds are a usual feature of firing positions and supply scenes.
Nip the parts out of the photo-etched fret and clean them up, make the bends on a bending tool or along the scored lines, and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal before painting and go over it with a coat of primer for adhesion. Make the sharp edges of the boxes on a bending tool; open lids let you show the inside with the ammunition as well.
An accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
