A modeling paint in a blue-green shade that carries the Japanese name Ao Midori Iro. The name itself describes the shade: it is a tone on the border between blue and green, that is a color that is not easy to mix from basic shades on your own and is more convenient to have ready-made. The bottle holds 17 ml and the item belongs to the Air Series range by AK interactive.
Shake the bottle properly before use so that the pigment settled at the bottom returns into the whole volume; otherwise the shade differs slightly with every further dip. The thinner and the ratio differ from range to range, so use the thinner intended for this range and follow the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging. A thinner from another range can curdle the paint. Try the consistency and the coverage on a piece of scrap plastic or on a hidden area first, and only then apply the paint to the model.
Wash and degrease the surface before painting, so that the coat holds even where the model was handled a lot during the build. Several thin coats give a more even result than one heavy one, which floods the fine surface relief and rounds off the edges. Let the paint dry between coats and reach for masking only once it is genuinely dry, not merely touch-dry.
