According to the name, decals are part of the package to bring the machine to life — the print on the side panels and the screen tends to be what sells the whole impression on these miniatures. Check the number of parts, the material and the dimensions of the finished machine against the illustration on the packaging and the contents of the package before building.
Cabinet arcade machines belong in an arcade, a bar, a station hall, an electronics shop or a tucked-away garage. In a diorama they work as a fixed point that sets the period and the setting of a scene at once; at the same time they suit as a natural backdrop for a figure to lean on. Keep the weathering in check — rubbing on the edges, greasy smears around the controls and dust at the base are plenty.
