An accessory for painting, not a kit. The templates follow the boundary between the rubber tire and the disk of a road wheel, so you do not have to draw the boundary with a brush nor block it out with a compass-cut template. The set is cut for the model of the BMD-2 from the manufacturer Zvezda.
The BMD-2 is a Soviet airborne combat vehicle on a tracked chassis with a low silhouette. The road wheels are small and there are several of them in close succession on the chassis, so drawing the boundary of the rubber around by hand is an especially thankless job on them.
Masking templates for wheels are not universal disks. Their inner and outer diameter corresponds to a particular part from a particular mold and even a few tenths of a millimeter of difference is visible on a finished model. Either a strip of rubber stays uncovered, or the color of the vehicle reaches onto the tire. The same subject moreover comes out in slightly different dimensions with different manufacturers of kits. This set is cut for the model of the BMD-2 from Zvezda and it need not fit wheels from another kit of the same vehicle, even though the name of the subject looks the same. Before purchase, therefore, verify which box you have at home, because that is the only figure by which otherwise identically named sets differ from one another.
The package holds only the masking templates. The kit, paints and thinners are not included in it. Before purchase verify that you are building exactly the kit mentioned.
