A resin diorama accessory, a bookcase (a Bücherregal), in 1:35 scale from MAiM. A prop for interior scenes, not a vehicle model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin diorama prop in 1:35 scale from MAiM. It is a standalone bookcase (a Bücherregal in German) meant to bring interior views to life. It is not a vehicle kit or a figure but an accessory that gives a living or working setting scale and atmosphere.
The bookcase comes into its own in rooms, studies, libraries and the ruins of buildings in 1:35 scale. In conjunction with figures and other furniture it makes a believable living space. The shelves can be filled out with small objects and books as you picture them.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces down with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting, preferably with an airbrush. You will bring out the wooden look with a base color, a dark wash in the joints and a dry brush on the edges; fine dust pigments will add realism.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
