This is a modeling material for imitating a British camouflage net, meant for finishing off the look of military vehicles and dioramas in roughly 1:35. The netting can be arranged over the hull, the turret or the equipment, completed with scraps of cloth and foliage, and so a realistic camouflaging of the equipment created. It is not a kit and not a photo-etched detail set but an add-on material for building a scene.
Camouflage nets served armies to break up the outline of equipment and to make it blend with its surroundings. British troops used them widely in the desert as well as in Europe. Strips of jute or natural material were often fastened to the net according to the surroundings in which the unit was operating.
This is an add-on modeling material, not a stand-alone model. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
