This injection-molded plastic kit captures the Chinese divisional gun Type 56 of 85 mm caliber in 1:35 scale. The package holds parts in hard plastic, a photo-etched fret and rubber tires. The gun can be built in the firing or the travel position and set in elevation as well as traverse.
The Type 56 is the Chinese license copy of the Soviet 85 mm D-44 divisional gun. It served as a field and anti-tank gun from the start of the 1960s and replaced the older 76 mm divisional gun. The weapon stood out for its good performance, its thin shield and its multipurpose use.
Assemble the carriage and the elevation mechanism so that it stays movable, and decide on the firing or the travel position. Put the multi-part breech and the divided relief of the barrel together carefully. Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement, apply a base coat (primer) and spray with an airbrush. Fine-tune the weathering with washes and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
