This is a photo-etched brass detail set from the Polish brand Aber in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit but a set of thin metal fenders with which you replace the coarser plastic parts on a model of the Pz.Kpfw. 38(t) light tank of Czechoslovak origin in German service. The set is conceived for all versions of this tank. The realistic thickness of the sheet makes it possible to render bends and damage faithfully.
The fenders of light tanks were routinely deformed, bent and broken off in the field. The Aber photo-etched parts respect how thin they were, so once shaped they look realistic. The package usually also contains small brackets and stiffeners for a faithful fit.
Cut the parts off with a sharp knife, bend them on a photo-etch bending tool or along a razor blade and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); they can also be soldered. Degrease the metal before painting and lay down a primer. For a vehicle from the front, bend the fenders slightly and leave some of them off.
This is an accessory for detailing, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
