A diorama accessory in 1:35 scale from the Polish brand Eureka XXL. It is NOT a model - it is a set of German 200 liter fuel drums. The drums are hollow one-piece resin castings with high detail; they are completed by photo-etched lids and bottoms with raised lettering for the Wehrmacht, the Kriegsmarine, the Waffen SS and the Luftwaffe, with the filler opening both open and closed.
Metal 200 liter drums were among the most common objects in rear, repair and supply areas. They mostly stayed in bare metal - gray-silver galvanized steel with darker reinforcing hoops, which on older drums tended to be rusted.
Glue both the resin parts and the photo-etched lids with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), and first wash the resin free of mold release agent. Galvanized metal is suggested with a gray-silver color, the hoops with a darker steel and rust; fine-tune the wear with chipped paint and pigments.
This is an accessory, not a stand-alone model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the basic model are not included in the package.
