Flakpanzer M-42 A1 Duster is a plastic kit of the self-propelled anti-aircraft gun in 1:35 scale from AFV Club.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit captures the M42 Duster self-propelled anti-aircraft gun in the A1 version. The set contains a newly tooled hull and turret, photo-etched parts and further detail. This boxing represents the vehicle in service with the German army.
The M42 Duster was an American self-propelled anti-aircraft gun with a pair of 40 mm cannons on the chassis of the M41 light tank. Besides the American army, other countries used it as well, including the German Bundeswehr. The A1 version had a more powerful engine and further modifications.
Finish the running gear before closing the hull. The open turret with the pair of cannons lets the detail stand out, so assemble and paint it carefully. Use a thin cement for plastic and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Washes and pigments suit the weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
