This injection-molded plastic accessory set in 1:35 scale from Tamiya brings German 20 liter jerrycans of the early pattern together with further details for vehicles and dioramas. It is not a vehicle model in its own right but accessories with which the cargo and stowage of a vehicle are completed.
The package consists of twelve early-type jerrycans with the cross-shaped embossing, two versions of stowage boxes, a Notek light and a jack with its base. The cans have separately shaped handles and caps with finely engraved lettering, so once painted they look very convincing.
Cut the parts from the sprue and glue them with liquid polystyrene cement. Paint the cans with an airbrush; once dry, a light wash in the embossing and drybrushing on the edges help, and the worn look is finished with chipped paint and rust. The set can be arranged on the fenders, on the engine deck and around a diorama.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
