An Aber photo-etched set for the Sd.Kfz.162 Jagdpanzer IV A-0 tank destroyer - vol. 2, fenders (1:35) is a photo-etched metal detail set, not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a photo-etched metal detail set from the Polish manufacturer Aber in 1:35 scale, not a vehicle model. The add-on set (vol. 2) brings thin photo-etched fenders for the Jagdpanzer IV tank destroyer in its pre-production A-0 form. It replaces the thicker plastic parts from the box with a truer scale profile and follows on from the basic set of the range.
The Jagdpanzer IV (Sd.Kfz.162) was a German tank destroyer of the Second World War on the Pz.Kpfw. IV chassis with a 75 mm gun. The fenders protected the running gear, and on combat vehicles they were often damaged or partly missing, which leaves room for a realistic rendering of wear.
Separate the photo-etched fenders with a sharp knife and bend them on a bending tool or along a ruler. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); degrease the metal and spray it with a coat of primer before painting. Slightly bent or damaged fenders with a wash and pigments look convincing.
This is a detail accessory, not a vehicle model. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
