Responsibility details are not available.
A set of wet, that is waterslide, decals from Star Decals devoted to the tanks of the US Marine Corps in the battle for Iwo Jima. It holds markings for the gun-armed M4A2 Sherman and for the M4A2 and M4A3 flame versions, which played a significant part in the fighting on the island.
The Sherman was the main American medium tank of the Second World War. The M4A2 version with its diesel engine was widespread with the Marine Corps; in the hard fighting in the Pacific the flame conversions also proved themselves, destroying Japanese fortified positions and caves. The tanks carried bold tactical markings and names, which the set of decals allows to be rendered.
The set is meant for modelers of Second World War tanks in 1:72 scale interested in the service of the US Marine Corps in the Pacific.
The decals are an accessory to a model; the models of the vehicles themselves, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package.
