1:35 Wehrmacht jerrycans, Nowack Bautzen, 1943 pattern, open is a set of ten small accessories for dioramas and for detailing military vehicles. It is not a vehicle kit but a separate fitting.
Responsibility details are not available.
The package brings ten miniatures of the German standard twenty-liter jerrycan in 1:35 scale with the closure flipped open, with the mark of the Nowack works of Bautzen and in the version after the pattern of 1943. It is not a model of a vehicle and not a kit: it is an accessory with which finished vehicles and a diorama scene are fitted out.
The standard can had three handles side by side, so it could be carried by one or by two people and passed along a chain from hand to hand, the folding lever closure could be opened by a soldier with one hand and without tools, and the pressed crosses on the sides stiffened the shell. The containers were pressed by several works at once and each marked its products with its own sign pressed into the shell; the individual versions are told apart by the mark and the year of the pattern to this day.
Separate the castings with a sharp scalpel or cutting pliers and sand the areas of the cut. Wash resin and 3D printed parts before painting in lukewarm water with dish soap and glue them with super glue; injection-molded plastic takes thin modeling cement. Open containers make sense where pouring is going on: on a fender, at a tank, in the hands of a figure. Darken the inside of the neck, suggest traces of fuel and a scuff around the closure, and on the shell a dark wash and a dry brush will come into their own.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
