A photo-etched metal set of small personal accessories, glasses and watches, in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Aber. These miniature items give figures of soldiers or civilians a realistic detail that is practically impossible to capture in plastic. It is an accessory for figures and a diorama.
Personal items such as glasses and wristwatches were part of the ordinary kit of soldiers and civilians alike. In 1:35 scale they are extremely small details that bring any figure to life.
Nip the parts out of the photo-etched fret and clean them up, make the bends on a bending tool or along the scored lines, and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal before painting and go over it with a coat of primer for adhesion. Because of the miniature size, work with tweezers and a magnifier; the frames of the glasses can be picked out with a fine brush.
