A set of modeling heads in 1:35 scale from the Head Series range, part 01. It is used to swap the heads of figures you want to give a different expression or headgear.
Responsibility details are not available.
The head decides how a figure comes across more than anything else. Swapping heads turns two identical figures into a pair that belongs together without repeating itself, and in the same way it can give a figure an expression that suits the intended scene better than the original one. That is exactly what separate head sets are for.
It is a set of heads in 1:35 scale, the most common scale in military modeling. The number 01 distinguishes the individual sets within the Head Series range. How many heads the package holds and how they are done are given in the manufacturer's instructions and illustration, so compare them with the figures you have the set in mind for before you start.
Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder down so that the neck seats squarely. Offer the head up dry first and check how it sits in the collar; it is often enough to shorten the pin slightly or to open the hole up with a drill. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts; on parts that are not polystyrene, cyanoacrylate glue holds. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. A face is painted from the darkest shade toward the lightest, with the eyes and lips done last with a fine brush.
It suits builders of figures and dioramas who want recognizable characters in a single scene, and anybody for whom the head is exactly what is wrong with a production figure. The work is small, but it shows on the result more than any other. The figures, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
