This is a photo-etched metal set of ivy leaves, that is an accessory for building dioramas which is not a model of a vehicle or a kit. It contains finely etched leaves which, once painted and arranged, turn into convincing climbing ivy growing over walls, ruins, fences or wrecks. The 1:35 scale matches ordinary military vehicles and figures.
Climbing greenery gives a diorama life and scale. Etched leaves are thin and hold their shape, so they look more realistic than a plastic alternative. Arranged over a surface they create the impression of an overgrown wall or an abandoned position.
Separate the leaves with a sharp knife and bend them slightly for a natural shape. Glue them with super glue onto thin wire or straight onto the surface. Paint them in shades of green with transitions and a darker wash in the shadows; dry-brushing brings out the edges of the leaves.
This is a metal detail accessory for dioramas. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
