The JGSDF Iraq humanitarian assistance team 1:35 is a plastic set of modern figures of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Tamiya.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic figure set in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Tamiya. It captures members of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) during a humanitarian mission in Iraq. The package holds figures with modern equipment, helmets and personal weapons. The set is meant to be glued and painted.
The Japan Ground Self-Defense Force was deployed in Iraq as part of international humanitarian aid at the beginning of the 21st century. The soldiers wore a modern combat uniform and ballistic helmets and carried standard infantry weapons and communications equipment. The figures therefore represent the present-day Japanese army and suit models of modern Japanese hardware.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and clean the joints up gently. Apply a base coat before painting. Modern uniforms with a camouflage pattern paint up well in layers, followed by a wash and gentle drybrushing to bring out the relief of the fabric and the equipment. Bring out the metal and plastic parts of the weapons with darker shades.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
