A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive painting masks for the wheels from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for building the model of the German heavy truck L 4500 in 1:35 scale. The masks follow the border between the rubber tire and the rim, so you spray the two in different colors with a perfectly circular and clean edge. It is not a model of the vehicle but an accessory for painting; the basic kit has to be bought separately.
The L 4500 was a German heavy truck built during the Second World War by the Büssing-NAG company and used by the Wehrmacht to carry cargo and soldiers alike. Painting the tires and the rims separately is one of those details on trucks that shape the final impression most.
Clean and degrease the wheels before the masks go on. Press the mask onto the tire around its whole circumference and spray in thin coats, so that the paint does not creep under the edge. Peel the mask off before the paint hardens completely, for the crispest possible circular edge.
The accessory is supplied on its own. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
