A set of leaves of a tropical plant in 1:35 scale for building vegetation on a diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
Leaves of a tropical plant in 1:35 scale serve to complete the growth in a scene. Vegetation carries more information than it seems: from the plants a viewer tells the climate, the season and how long a place has lain untouched by people. The strikingly shaped leaves of tropical plants moreover cannot be put together from ordinary green scatter, and it is precisely they that tell a scene where it takes place.
Build the vegetation up in layers from the bottom: first the terrain, then the low growth and the bushes and finally the striking leaves that give the scene scale. Credibility is helped if the leaves are not all the same. Roll or bend some of them slightly, so that they do not look as if they were cut from one sheet, and do not lay them out at regular intervals; in nature everything grows crooked. The shade is rewarding to play up with a thin layer of thinned paint, a little darker or, conversely, drier at the edges of the leaves. Try it on one piece first, because the surface may behave differently from what you expect. The particular procedure for preparing them and a suitable glue are stated in the manufacturer's instructions.
For builders of dioramas in 1:35 scale who place vehicles or figures in a tropical and subtropical setting, whether it is Southeast Asia, the Pacific islands or even a greenhouse. It also suits a finished scene that is short of a striking foreground.
A base, terrain materials, glue and paints are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
