The M-1A1 Abrams is an American main battle tank armed with a 120 mm gun and powered by a gas turbine. The hot outlet of the turbine at the rear of the vehicle was often covered with a protective grille in the fighting in Iraq, so as to lower the risk of burns to the infantry accompanying it. The set captures this late form of the cover.
Break the parts out of the fret with a sharp knife, make the bends over a metal ruler and glue with super glue. The photo-etched exhaust cover is best painted with an airbrush before it is seated and then brought out with shading. Degrease the surface before painting.
The accessory is supplied as a set of photo-etched parts. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
