MIG Productions 1:35 Medic 82nd Airborne Division is a resin figure of an American medic of an airborne division from the period of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
An unpainted figure cast in resin in 1:35 scale from the Spanish manufacturer MIG Productions. The subject is a medic of an American airborne division in the field uniform of the Second World War, with the gear typical of that service. The figure is intended to be painted on its own for a display case or as part of a diorama; it is supplied unassembled, as a set of castings.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent, so that the remains of the mold release agent disappear, as otherwise the primer will not hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw, sand the areas wet with your breathing protected and glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Fill and sand the seams at the shoulders. After the primer, build the uniform up from a base tone through thin glazes to lightened edges of the folds; olive shades look more convincing when fine variations are worked into them. Leave the straps, the pouches and the distinguishing emblems until the end and paint them with a fine brush with a good point. Paint the face separately, while the head is still loose.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin casting for more experienced modelers. Paints, glue and the base are not included in the package.
