This detail set from the manufacturer Eureka XXL serves to enliven dioramas and models of German armored hardware. It is not a kit of a vehicle but a set of resin accessories complemented by photo-etched parts, from which you will assemble four metal ammunition canisters. Rounds of 8.8 cm caliber for the Kw.K.43 (L/71) guns were stowed in these transport canisters.
The 8.8 cm Kw.K.43 gun was among the most effective anti-tank weapons of the Second World War and was carried by vehicles such as the Tiger II, the Jagdpanther tank destroyer and the Nashorn. Canisters placed about the loading area, on the fenders or around a gun position will give a scene a story and credibility of scale.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut the casting blocks away and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Bend the photo-etched parts over a straight edge. Spray the metal with primer, then with shades of field gray or dark yellow, and accentuate the edges and the markings with washes and drybrushing.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as an accessory in resin and photo-etched parts. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
