Responsibility details are not available.
This item is neither a kit of a vehicle nor a set of figures but an accessory set of small parts: weapons and elements of the personal equipment of the modern British Army from the maker Gecko Models. It serves to complete the kit of figures, to fill out the interior of a vehicle or to bring a diorama to life with small objects that give the scene credibility. The parts are of injection-molded plastic and are supplied unpainted.
In 1:35 scale the small accessories are what sets an empty model apart from an inhabited scene. Weapons laid down on a fender, packs and pouches stacked in the cargo bed or a helmet put on a seat create the impression that somebody really uses the vehicle. An accessory set of this type is therefore fitting even when you do not want to put figures themselves into the scene. It will be appreciated above all by modelers who build contemporary British equipment and who find the matching gear missing from the basic kits.
Cut the small parts off the sprue with a sharp knife and clean the remains of the gate up with a scalpel, so that the thin parts do not snap off. Painting is easiest while they are still on the sprue: apply a primer and the base shade, cut the parts off only afterwards and touch the cleaned-up places in with a brush. Weapons look best with a dark base, a fine dry brush on the edges and a discreet sheen on the metal parts. Textile equipment, by contrast, should be left matte, with dust added to it with a pigment. Bring the straps and the belts out with a thin wash. When laying things out in a scene, see to it that the objects lie naturally, not symmetrically.
This is an accessory set of parts, not a complete model. Paints, glue and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
