1:35 Modern German Head w/Field Cap - Shocked Impression #0020

MAiM 1:35, head of a modern German soldier with a field cap (a shocked expression)

A standalone resin head in 1:35 scale showing a modern German soldier in a field cap. The face has a shocked, startled expression. It is not a complete figure but a replacement head for swapping with the original part and for bringing a scene to life with a telling expression.

The real subject and the expression

The head is based on the appearance of a soldier of a present-day army with soft headgear. The shocked expression with the mouth slightly open and the eyes wide suits tense, action-filled views where the character is meant to react to a sudden event.

Building and painting tips

• Wash the mold release residue off the part and cut off the casting block.
• Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
• Sand the neck down if needed so that it seats exactly on the body of the figure.
• Build the skin up in layers; pick out the sunken features with a thin wash.

Who the part is for

• For figure modelers and diorama builders who want to vary the expression of a character.
• For more advanced builders used to working with resin.

This is a standalone resin head, not a complete figure. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; paints and a figure are not included in the package.
