Voyager Model is a Chinese manufacturer of photo-etched aftermarket sets for military subjects, mostly in 1:35 scale. The parts are developed for the AFV Club 35042/35192 kits, so on another kit they need not fit.
The M42 Duster is an American self-propelled anti-aircraft gun built on the chassis of the M41 light tank. It carries a pair of 40 mm automatic guns in an open turret, and the M42A1 version differed in changes to the powerpack. Given the open turret and the fast-firing armament, the vehicle was in practice widely used against ground targets as well. The fenders above the running gear are a prominent sheet-metal feature on this type, clearly visible on a model both from the side and from above.
With fenders the rule is that they are glued on only once the running gear is set and the hull is leveled. Otherwise it easily happens that a finished fender does not sit at the height of the wheels. Work on a light-colored surface with a raised edge and sort the small parts in advance into a dish or onto double-sided tape, because one part flying off usually means the end of a photo-etched set. A magnetic, or at least a non-slip, mat under the tools helps too. Before you reach for the glue, always try the whole part dry and hold it in place, and fix it only after checking.
