Idler wheels of the late standard for a model of the Panther Ausf. G tank in 1:35 scale, with arms. The set is enough for one vehicle and is cut for Takom kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Panther Ausf. G was the most numerously produced version of the German Panther medium tank. The idler wheel sits at the rear of the running gear and maintains the tension of the track; it is held by an arm with which the tension is adjusted. On late machines a standard designated as 665 mm was used, on whose disk the production numbers remained, just as the real cast disks carried them.
Idler wheels of the late standard with arms and with the numbers raised in relief on the disk. The set is enough for one vehicle and is prepared for Takom kits. It replaces the parts from the kit, so it pays to compare in advance what will be removed from the original running gear.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the rest away carefully, so that you do not damage the circumference of the disk. Before gluing, dry-fit to see whether the arm lines up with the hull and whether the wheel holds the track in one plane with the other wheels. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts; for parts that are not polystyrene, cyanoacrylate glue is suitable. Wash and degrease the wheels before painting, otherwise the paint will not hold on the smooth surface. The relief of the numbers will stand out if you go over the disk with a dry brush in a lighter shade after the base color.
The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
