The Eduard photo-etched parts Panzer IV Ausf. H Schürzen 1:35 is a photo-etched set of Schürzen armor skirts for a model of the German Panzer IV Ausf. H tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a photo-etched set from Eduard in 1:35 scale, not a model of the tank. The set is aimed at the Schürzen, that is the armor skirts and their mounts. The photo-etched sheet is far thinner and more faithful than the thick plastic parts from the box and it makes it possible to build realistically bent or damaged skirts as well.
The Schürzen were thin steel skirts hung along the sides of the hull and the turret of the Panzer IV. They protected the vehicle from antitank rifles and shaped-charge munitions; in the field they were often missing, bent or damaged, which is a rewarding subject for a modeler.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and shape them as needed, so that they look genuinely used. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Fine dents, flaking paint and a wash at the mounts will support a realistic impression.
The detail set is supplied on its own. The model of the tank, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
