Italeri 1:35 Partisans is a set of unassembled plastic figures of partisans of the Second World War in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of injection-molded plastic figures in 1:35 scale from the Italian manufacturer Italeri. It is neither a vehicle nor an aircraft kit, but an accessory intended to bring dioramas and display scenes to life: the figures are assembled and painted in the same way as an ordinary plastic model. The number of figures, their poses and the extent of the weapons enclosed are given on the box and in the manufacturer's instructions.
Partisans were irregular units operating behind the lines in the Second World War. From a modeling point of view they differ from regular troops above all in appearance: civilian or mixed clothing predominates, equipment was carried in improvised ways and the weapons were varied, because they came from different sources. It is exactly this lack of uniformity that makes such figures rewarding in dioramas where you want to set a civilian setting apart from military equipment.
First clean the flash off the figures and sand down the mold seams, above all across the face and the shoulders, where the seams show most. Glue them with liquid cement for polystyrene, which welds the plastic and leaves no material on the surface. It pays to paint from the base up: spray a filling primer, then the skin and the clothing, and give them relief with a thin dark wash in the folds and a fine dry brush along the edges. Civilian fabrics take less uniform shades than a uniform does, so the result looks better if you dress each figure a little differently. At the end, unify the surface with a matte coat.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
