An injection-molded plastic kit of the Chinese ZBD-05 amphibious infantry fighting vehicle in 1:35 scale. The set offers a precisely molded hull, detailed running gear with individual track links, separate hatches, movable bow and stern flaps, smoke grenade launchers, anti-tank guided missiles with their launchers, photo-etched parts and metal tubes for the hydraulic cylinders.
The ZBD-05 is a modern amphibious infantry fighting vehicle of the People's Liberation Army with a two-man turret mounting a 30 mm cannon. The vehicle is designed for landing from assault ships at sea and for a fast run to the shore thanks to hydraulically operated bow and stern flaps that reduce water resistance.
Finish the running gear and the individual tracks first, and only then close up the hull. The movable flaps can be fixed in the chosen position. Thin plastic cement, a primer and an airbrush are the answer. For amphibious hardware, light washes and pigments suggesting service in water and mud work well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
