Plastic containers for chemicals 1:35 from Eureka XXL is a diorama accessory for filling the scene around a vehicle. It is not a vehicle kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This item is not a vehicle model but an add-on set for dioramas in 1:35 scale. It holds the small containers in which operating fluids and chemical products are carried and stored. These are exactly the objects that turn a bare base into an inhabited scene: they stand about by workshop doors, on the bed of a truck, at a field post or under the shelter of a repair unit.
Diorama scenes usually only become convincing at the moment when the ordinary everyday mess is visible in them. The set finds a use as an accessory to models of modern and civilian vehicles, in workshop and garage scenes, in figure compositions and as an element filling empty places on a vignette. The containers can be used standing loose as well as stacked in a crate, lashed to a load or scattered around a waste bin.
First clear the parts of the remains of the sprue gates and carefully sand the mating surfaces, so that the containers stand straight. If they are cast in resin, wash them in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent before painting and glue them with super glue. Choose the base color according to what sort of plastic the container is meant to represent: a rich shade for new pieces, a faded one for pieces that have stood outside for a long time. Plastic containers have no metallic sheen, so a satin to semi-matte surface is better. Credibility is helped by a thin wash in the pressings, fine wear on the edges with a dry brush and a few stains or runs around the closure.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
