Panzerjäger Bren Carrier 1:35 is a resin conversion set for a kit you have already bought, not a model in its own right. It makes it possible to rebuild the British light tracked carrier into a captured machine rearmed with an antitank gun.

A conversion set of resin from the Czech maker Hauler. It is neither a finished model nor a complete kit: the castings are fitted to the base plastic kit of the British tracked carrier, which has to be obtained separately. Working with resin and cutting into the plastic parts make it a project for modelers who already have the building of basic kits behind them.
The Universal Carrier, better known to us as the Bren Carrier, was a light open tracked carrier with an armored hull, produced in large batches for the British and Allied armies. It carried machine-gun sections, ammunition and supplies, towed light guns and served as a liaison and reconnaissance vehicle. A considerable number of the machines fell into German hands in 1940 and were taken into service; some of them went through a field or workshop rebuild in which an antitank gun was seated in the fighting compartment and an improvised tank destroyer arose. The chassis stayed as it was, and the superstructure and the armament changed.
First wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent - the remains of the mold release agent would otherwise make it impossible for the primer and the glue to take. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutter, and never break them. Sand strictly wet and with protection for your breathing, as dust from resin is harmful to health. It is glued with super glue, cyanoacrylate; ordinary glue for plastic has no effect on resin. Try everything dry before gluing: with a conversion, reckon on cutting into the plastic parts of the base kit, that is, on cutting and sanding. Begin the painting with a good primer, which unifies the resin with the plastic, and only then come the base shade, the filters and the weathering.
The conversion set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
