A photo-etched metal detail set, not a kit of the whole vehicle. It holds thin metal fenders for the Panzer I light tank in the Ausf.A and Ausf.B versions, which replace the thicker plastic parts at the real thickness and capture the edge beads and stiffeners better. It is meant as an add-on accessory for a plastic kit in 1:35 scale.
The Panzer I was a German light tank of the 1930s armed only with machine guns. The A and B versions differed in the length of the chassis and in the engine, and fenders with side beads were a prominent feature of both vehicles. Metal makes it possible to capture even the small bends and openings that are visible on the real fenders.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade and form the bends with a photo-etch bending tool for straight, clean edges. For gluing use cyanoacrylate glue or epoxy. The fenders can be slightly deformed for a worn effect; degrease the metal and lay down a primer before painting.
This is a detail accessory, not a model of the vehicle. The base kit, glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
