1:35 PzKpfw II drive sprockets, variant A is a resin replacement for the drive sprockets of the light tank. The set is cut for the Tamiya kit and it is an accessory, not a model of the vehicle.

A detail set from T-Rex Studio in 1:35 scale. It replaces the drive sprockets of the PzKpfw II light tank with resin castings that have more finely rendered teeth, openings in the disk and surface of the faces. The manufacturer offers two standards, variant A and variant B, and each of them additionally in a form adapted to different plastic kits. This item is intended for the Tamiya kit; the shape of the mounting and the diameter of the hub match its running gear, so it need not fit another kit without modification. This is an accessory, not a kit of the tank.
The drive sprocket is an exposed part on a tank model: it is visible from the side, it has regular teeth and any inaccuracy of shape or trace of the mold shows. Here injected plastic runs into the limits of the mold parting line, so the teeth tend to be rounded and the openings closed. A resin casting can have sharper teeth and genuinely see-through pressings, which shows above all on a model with taut tracks or with tracks sagging over the return rollers.
Wash the parts in warm water with detergent. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw as close to the disk as possible, then sand the remainder wet and with respiratory protection. Before gluing, dry-fit the sprockets together with the tracks, because on the running gear every deviation shows in the tension of the track. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Painting is easier if you leave the sprockets separate until the end: spray them on their own, add a dark wash between the teeth, apply a metallic sheen on the contact faces sparingly with graphite or a dark metallic, and finally tie the whole running gear together with dust pigments.
The set is an accessory, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Before buying, check that this is the standard matching both your subject and your kit.
