The precisely turned metal barrel replaces the short but massive plastic barrel in the base model. Metal guarantees concentricity and a clean muzzle with no mold seams. It is a detail accessory, not a tank kit. Manufacturer Aber, 1:35 scale.
The 152.4 mm M-10 howitzer in its tank form (M-10S/M-10T) armed the Soviet KV-2 heavy tank with its distinctively tall, slab-sided turret. The tank was designed to destroy fortifications and bunkers, and its huge turret with the short howitzer is unmistakable. A faithful barrel completes that silhouette.
This is an accessory (a metal gun barrel), not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
