Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the modern Russian Uragan-1M multiple launch rocket system in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Trumpeter. The large eight-wheeled carrier with interchangeable rocket containers is among the most interesting subjects in current artillery.
The Uragan-1M is the successor to the older Uragan system. Its fundamental novelty is the dual-caliber concept: instead of fixed bundles of tubes the vehicle carries interchangeable transport and launch containers, which shortens reloading time and allows rockets of different calibers to be used. The system is mounted on a heavy cross-country wheeled chassis in an 8x8 all-wheel-drive layout, with the crew cab at the front.
Split the build into the chassis with the frame, the cab and the rocket superstructure and paint them separately, which makes access to the segmented areas easier. The containers and the hydraulics will take gentle shading, and fit the wheels only once they are painted. The basis is a modern Russian green, or a three-color camouflage; a discreet dusty patina underlines the cross-country character of the carrier. Small grab handles and mirrors are best glued on with super glue right at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
