An Aber photo-etched detail set for the Soviet KV-I heavy tank in 1:35 scale, the basic set (vol.1). A metal accessory for the plastic kit, not a tank model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a photo-etched metal detail set, not a tank model. The basic set (vol.1) from Aber holds fine photo-etched parts that refine the plastic kit of the Soviet KV-I heavy tank. The photo-etched parts bring a truer sheet thickness, meshes, brackets and small features that injected plastic cannot reach.
The KV-I was a Soviet heavy tank from the start of the Second World War, named after Kliment Voroshilov. It stood out for its thick armor, which in 1941 resisted most anti-tank weapons of the day, and it carried a 76 mm gun. It was one of the main heavy tanks of the Red Army in the early part of the war.
Cut the parts out with a sharp knife, bend them on a bending tool or along a ruler and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the metal and give it a coat of primer before painting. Work with tweezers and in good light.
An accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
