This add-on photo-etched set holds fine metal fenders and related parts for a plastic model of the Soviet BT-7 light tank in 1:35 scale. It is not a vehicle kit of its own but an extension following on from the basic photo-etched set.
The BT-7 was a Soviet fast tank of the 1930s with Christie suspension and the option of running on tracks or on wheels. It was marked by high speed and was widely fielded at the start of the Second World War.
Thin metal fenders allow a realistic look and natural bending or damage. Separate the parts with a sharp knife, bend them on a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or epoxy; degrease the metal before painting and use a base coat for metals.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a complete model. The base plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
