Admiral Graf Spee 1937 is a plastic kit of the German armored ship (pocket battleship) in 1:700 scale from the manufacturer Trumpeter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit captures the German armored ship of the Deutschland class, known at the time as a pocket battleship, as she was in 1937. The hull can be built at full height on a stand or as a waterline. The package holds rotating gun turrets of 283 mm caliber, the characteristic tall forward superstructure, a display stand and a decal sheet.
Admiral Graf Spee was the third unit of the Deutschland class, combining heavy-caliber gunnery with diesel propulsion and a long range. She was built for operations against merchant shipping. At the beginning of the Second World War she operated in the South Atlantic and was scuttled by her own crew after the Battle of the River Plate in 1939. The main battery consisted of six guns of 283 mm caliber.
We recommend a thin cement for plastic, a primer and an airbrush; the interwar German shades of gray are typical. Paint the hull and the decks before fitting the small parts. The appearance is enhanced by photo-etched railings and rigging, which are not included in the package.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
