A set of wet transfers from the Czech manufacturer HGW for models of the Scammell Pioneer SV2S vehicle in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit, but an accessory with markings: the sheet carries small technical and service markings, that is the labels by the filler caps, the lubrication points, the controls and the load capacity, of the kind found on the real machine. The set is generally usable for models of this vehicle in the scale given.
The Scammell Pioneer was a British heavy off-road truck with drive to more than one axle, used in variants as a tractor, a tanker and a recovery vehicle. The SV2S form is the recovery version with a jib crane and a winch, intended for lifting and towing damaged vehicles across country. A robust frame, an open structure at the rear and a great many service labels on the body and the equipment are characteristic of it.
First spray the surface under the transfers and varnish it over with a gloss varnish, so that it is smooth. Soak the item you have cut out, slide it into place and, while it is still wet, adjust its position. Press the water out from under the print, let it dry thoroughly for several hours and only then take the carrier film off, so that only the color of the print is left on the surface. On vehicles the markings work well applied after the basic weathering, so that they do not look too new. At the end bring the model together with a matte varnish and add dust and mud effects if you like.
This is an accessory with markings, not a model. A kit, paints and varnishes are not included in the package.
