MAiM 1:35 Scorpion M.H.S is a kit of a fictional combat machine of the Schwabenland army from the military-flavored science fiction range Front46.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a kit of the machine designated Scorpion M.H.S in 1:35 scale from the MAiM brand. The item belongs to the Front46 series and is listed under the fictional Schwabenland formation; both are designations of the world of the manufacturer, not an abbreviation of a scale and not truncated text. This variant is offered without a pilot figure — the brand also offers versions with a pilot separately, so you choose according to whether you want the machine alone or the crew with it.
Scorpion is a fictional machine. The Front46 range builds on a stylized alternative future of the middle of the 1940s: the shapes take over elements of period military equipment, but no such asset ever came about or was committed, and the designation in the name does not refer to a real service classification. For a modeler it matters that the model is not bound by any documented scheme — the camouflage, the markings and the degree of wear are entirely up to you.
Choose the glue according to the material of the parts — a thin plastic cement on injection-molded plastic, super glue on resin parts. Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water, remove any casting residue and protect your airways when sanding. Assemble and dry fit the running and load-bearing gear before you close the hull up — on an intricate machine you will no longer get inside afterward. Apply a filler primer and only then the covering shades. Intricate areas are brought to life by a dark wash in the engraved lines, a dry brush on the edges and fine chipping on the exposed places; concentrate the dust and mud pigments at the lower part of the machine.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
