A photo-etched metal detail set, not a kit of the whole vehicle. It gives the Sd.Kfz.250/1 light armored personnel carrier fine metal parts – fenders, brackets, mesh, tool holders and the small fittings of the hull. It is meant as an add-on accessory for a plastic kit in 1:35 scale.
The Sd.Kfz.250/1 was a German light half-tracked armored personnel carrier (leichter Schützenpanzerwagen) of the Second World War. It carried reconnaissance and infantry squads and also served as a weapons carrier, and it was deployed on every front. The open hull lets fine metal detail show to advantage.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp blade and form the bends with a photo-etch bending tool. Glue the metal with cyanoacrylate glue or epoxy. Finish and paint the interior of the open hull and the running gear before you fit the upper parts; for weathering use washes and pigments for mud and dust effects.
