Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet Object 704 self-propelled gun in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The detailed model holds a lower hull molded in several parts, individual track links and photo-etched parts. The model is meant to be glued and painted.
The Object 704 was a Soviet heavy self-propelled gun designed at the end of the Second World War as the successor to the ISU-152. It grew out of the chassis of the IS series of heavy tanks and stood out for the markedly sloped armor of its casemate and its low silhouette. It carried a powerful 152 mm gun barrel. The vehicle stayed at the prototype stage and never reached series production, yet it ranks among the interesting and unusual subjects of Soviet equipment.
Assemble and fine-tune the running gear first, and only then close the hull. Prepare the individual track links in advance and glue them while they are still flexible. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). We recommend a primer, an airbrush for the base shade and weathering with washes and pigments for dust and mud effects on the sloped surfaces.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
