An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet T-10A heavy tank in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The model has a finely worked surface, a broken-up lower hull, detailed running gear and individual track links. A photo-etched part is included as well. The kit is intended to be assembled and painted.
The T-10 was a Soviet Cold War heavy tank and the last development branch of the KV and IS series. It was accepted for production in 1952 and, after Stalin's death, was given the designation T-10. The T-10A variant of the mid-1950s brought a new stabilized gun and improved sighting equipment.
Finish the running gear and the lower hull first, then the turret. Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement and lay the individual track links out in order in advance. A primer and an airbrush are the answer; the weathering and dust effects are created with washes and pigments on the running gear and the sides of the hull.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
