An injection-molded plastic figure set in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The set contains four figures of a Soviet tank crew in poses suited to being placed in a tank as well as beside it. The figures come with matching accessories. They are supplied on sprues and have to be glued and painted.
A tank crew operated a combat vehicle in divided roles - commander, driver, gunner and loader. Figures of this kind prove their worth in bringing a tank model to life, whether seated in the turret and the hatches or in resting poses beside the vehicle.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and clean up the mold seams. Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement. Paint the uniforms and coveralls of the crew with acrylics, use a dark wash in the folds and bring out the edges with drybrushing. Build the faces up in thinned layers. Check how the figures seat before you fit them into the hatches. A final matte varnish unifies the surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
